What makes a holiday proposal so magical and special?

We think that everyone can agree by saying that the holidays are the most magical time of the year. What’s better than being surrounded by your loved ones and being able to celebrate your traditions and values with those you cherish most? Since it’s already such a special time, why not add to all this appeal by proposing to your soulmate? At the Diamond Reserve, we think that holiday proposals are so incredibly special and here are just a few of the reasons why:

Convenience Is Key!

During the time of year where you’re surrounded by your friends, family and other loved ones, the convenience factor is almost too good to be true. People often have busy work schedules and have a hard time escaping from reality, but during the holidays, you are able to have all hands on deck which makes the entire process so much smoother.

The extra support comes in handy when you’re coordinating the fine details for the timeline of your proposal. The last thing you have to worry about during this time is playing cat and mouse while making everyone’s schedules work to come together to celebrate the occasion. All hands will be on deck to support you and will be ready to celebrate as soon as your partner says “yes!”.

Instead of spending all night calling your friends and family to share the special news, you’ll be able to celebrate with them directly and enjoy your night even more with the people you care about most. How special is that?

What Are You Thankful For?

Typically some of the things that you’re most thankful for are your friends, family and your significant other. They support you, guide you and make you feel like a better person and truly illuminate the person that you are. During the time of year where you celebrate and appreciate all things you’re thankful for, why not make it even more of a special time?

Proposing to your significant other during this time will make them realize how thankful you are to have them in your life. As mentioned before, you will already be with your friends and family, so a Thanksgiving or Christmas proposal will be even more special to reminisce on.

Moving forward and later throughout the years, this time of year will be even more magical when you get to celebrate the holidays and your proposal anniversary at the same time. Every year moving forward throughout the end of the year, you can reminisce about how special of a time this truly is.

Ringing in the New Year

Proposing during Christmas or the New Year is equally as special of a time. Later down the road, you will be able to reflect with your friends and family on how special the holiday season was. When retelling your proposal story, how sweet would it be to tell the story of your love story coming to life during the most magical time of the year?

2020 hasn’t been the best year for most people, so why not end it on a good note. It will make your New Years so romantic and will keep the joy rolling into 2021. Whether it’s Christmas Eve, Christmas morning, or when the clock strikes midnight on New Years, we think that holiday proposals are so delightful.

Overall, if you’re debating whether or not you should propose this holiday season, just remember that it is one of the most idyllic times of the year. This season will always be filled with family, love and hope for your future. This is a great way to start your new year on the right foot and will allow you to embrace the holiday season to a further extent now that you get to celebrate your significant other and your relationship as well. A holiday engagement is a perfect way to guarantee the perfect end to the year while starting a new life together!
