Denver City Park offers views of the historic pavilion with Ferril Lake and one of the most beautiful backdrops of Denver’s skyline stacked up in front of the mountains. With 330 acres of land, open park, lake, and city views, there are many places to take photos. This urban park is also home to the Denver Zoo and the Museum of Nature and Science

Union Station was built in the late 1800s and is still used as the main railway station for Denver. It’s one of the most sought out engagement locations and considered the quintessential Denver shot. Cinematic towering arched windows, a vintage signature clock, bright lights and neon red signs offer a vintage vibe. The inside of the building is even more spectacular with ornate chandeliers, cathedral ceilings and rusty wood benches.

A few blocks away in Denver’s LoDo neighborhood is the Dairy Block, a hip and trendy new alleyway filled with unique art, and featuring an outdoor market draped with lights. It’s only two blocks from Union Station and five blocks from Wynkoop Street Bridge which is also a fun photo shoot location.

Featuring a beautiful marble Greek-styled pavilion, Cheesman Park is an elegant place to shoot your engagement photos, and one of the few locations in Denver that has weeping willow trees. It’s an easy stroll back downtown or over to the Denver Botanic Gardens in the Congress Park Neighborhood on the east side of the Park. In addition to its pretty gardens, it also has lots of cool structures and other hardscaping.

A striking piece of the downtown landscape is the Denver Art Museum full of fascinating shapes, intriguing angles and stunning architecture. These architectural lines give way to bustling streets providing the perfect contemporary vibe. 

Larimer Square is the city’s oldest and most historically rich location. With string lights dangling across the streets to the state flag or the local sports teams’ flags hanging in the air, it truly captures the lively feeling of downtown Denver. The bistro lights and historic buildings make the location charming especially in the evening against a darkening sky.
